I picked this set up from Menards as a birthday present to myself. I had a Harbor Freight brad nailer that was, well, a harbor freight tool; a total piece of stinky-stuff. So, I was in the market for a new one plus I had been dreaming about getting a pin-nailer as well when I saw this kit on sale for $80. I picked it up after checking the return policy (knowing that ‘Tool Shop’ can be on par with ‘Harbor Freight’ in terms of quality) and took it home. First I̵...

For Christmas my mom got me a 40 piece Tool Shop router bit set. I know what your thinking you get what you pay for. And for the most part that is true. This was an exception. 40 piece carbide tip ΒΌ shank router bits in every shape and size. Ball bearings on the top and bottom of some bits all run smooth. I tested all the bits and all are sharp and true out of the box no wobble or any defects that I can detect. They came in a nice wooden case with easy access to the bits. This was on sale fo...

I got it home and discovered the carbide cutter is held in with a set screw. I removed the cutter and began thinking what could I use for a chisels. I had purched from Flee...

If you are only going to use these bits at most a few times each and not demanding great results then OK. But if you need quality results and don’t want to play games with something just to use it then pass on them. The case they come in is durable and each bits location is labeled with an image of the bit shape so that is a positive. The second picture I included shows...

Here are the bits that I bought about three months ago for some up and coming projects. I like these bits becasue they came in a huge set, I belive 16, and it was only $25. They make flat bottomed holes, angled holes, and are just very nice. They do have there downside tough. They are very hard to use if not useing in a drill press, they tend to not want to start if your useing a drill. Some of them also have a slight wobble which is not so great, but most of them are perfect. They also tend ...
