There is only one in Canada and I’ve got it. So if you’re looking for the particulars on the new Hitachi M12VE for 2010……………….follow this link.http://gordgraff.blip.tv/ All...

Excellent Performer for the Money

Excellent Performer for the Money

The M12VC is Hitachi’s basic fixed base 11 amp router, that includes variable speed, soft start, and electronic feedback to maintain a set RPM throughout the cut. It’s also available in a kit as the KM12VC that includes both the fixed and plunge bases. The sub-base accepts the standard size PC style bushing adaptors. I purchased the M12VC in hopes it would be more manageable than my heavier Bosch 1617 for dovetail work. Mine was a refurb purchased through Reconditioned Sale...

Hitachi C10FL Hybrid Table Saw - Awesome saw for the money

Hitachi C10FL Hybrid Table Saw - Awesome saw for the money

I just bought this saw ($499 – 15%(Promo) – 10% (coupon) -$100 (gift card thru MIR), and I love it. This is my second table saw, and I am far from a professional woodworker (that is why I bought a $500 TS ;), and not a $1000+ Jet table saw). I have used it with pine and cedar in the month that I have had it. It cut great through both, even when using the dado blade. This saw is not perfect, but it is a lot better than the others in the same price range. Here are the pros, and cons (and no I d...

Fantastic saw for rough or finish work

Fantastic saw for rough or finish work

Hi all, Since I’ve read so much good advice, I thought I’d contribute a little myself. I’ve had the C10FSH for a couple of years now and have to say it is hands down a fantastic saw. It’s a dual bevel 10 inch slider that I bought so I could cut some boards to lay under a shed. I’ve also used it for some fine trim work and hope to use it for some furniture building. It is dead-on accurate and doesn’t need to be readjusted unless you change the blade. ...

The Hitachi WH10DL “Micro” impact driver performs well beyond it’s diminuitive size. It features a 10.8 volt (12 volt max) 1.5Ah Lithium Ion battery technology and has a whopping 840 in/lbs of torque, an impact feature, an LED light, reversible variable speed (400 rpm max operating speed), and weighs in at a mere 2.2 lbs. The WH10DL includes two batteries, 40 minute charger, and a nice hard side carrying case. For new tools, Hitachi offers a lifetime warranty on their Li-I...

Hitachi C12RSH Dual Compound Sliding Miter W/Laser Marker

Hitachi C12RSH Dual Compound Sliding Miter W/Laser Marker

I have been kicking around getting a 12 inch slider for some time. I have had my craftman 10 inch basic miter saw for amost 20 yrs. She has served me well but I wanted more x cutting capability instead of using the table saw for long planks. I have had this saw for 2 weeks now and really gotten to get a feel for how she performs. I don’t give out 5 stars easily. I’m hard on my tools but I must say this is a great saw. I was surprised it came with a good quality carbide blade. I...

Hitachi C12RSH Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw

I bought this saw last month after doing quite a bit of research and looking for the best bang for the buck. This saw had very good reviews on the internet and I spoke with a couple of contractors that had this saw and got good reviews from them also. If you are going to be using this saw on job sites you will need a portable stand for it, this thing is no light weight it weights in at 65 pounds. I checked the back fence, bevels and miter angles and this thing was set perfect from the f...

Hitachi misses the mark with their model C12LSH

Last October 27/2007 I was induced to purchase the above mentioned CMS at a trade show .They Hitachi offered me a $100.00 rebate off the floor price to complete with Bosch and Dewalt who were, as I remember, breathing down their necks with pricing. It’s now March 3th 2008 and despite several e-mails and phone calls I am told to be patient another 2 weeks and they would give me my money back. The last time they said that it took three weeks before I eventually called again. Had they not...

I have two of these routers!I mounted on in my router table and use the other one for manual jobs. Having a 3 ¼ Hp, 15 AMP motor, the Hitachi M12V is can handle virtually any routing job or bit design. The motor features an infinitely adjustable electronic speed control dial and soft start to make it manageable for hand use. The 8,000 to 20,000 rpm range (no load) dial is divided by 1 through 5 numerals (no detents) on the dial. The On/Off switch is located off the right-side handle and...

I bought this drill/driver for a deck for my daughter, my Ridged batteries were dying a fast death. A side note on the construction. I bought a Hitachi 18 volt drill and ratched drill at Lowes for $229.00 before I went. Model WH 18DSAL Hitachi site I charged up both batteries. Everything worked great. All joyce hangers, screws up to 3 1/2”, decking boards, facia boards stairs were attached with the two screw guns. It required an additional charge on each battry and a second charge on...
