Air Gun: DeVilbiss

Part of a good finish into the wood or the application of automotive paint, much depends on the gun used, among other factors.
Speaking of brands, DeVilbiss, is for me the best brand of air guns in Mexico. But talk of quality is also talk about cost, and the products of this brand is expensive in comparison with the other brands mentioned.

DeVilbiss MGQ-500

Currently this model is the most sold in Mexico, it can get at Homedepot or a Wal-Mart.

For continuous escape of air compressors and small storage tank without air. Has a single control-flow fan. It works by pressure and must not exceed 40 lbs of pressure. The current vessel is not the original, is a reinforced Adir says holds up to 70 Lbs.

The fluid tube is plastic and is inserted under pressure, can be rotated to easily change the position of application.

This gun has about 12 years of use, when I was a replacement for the pistol, we do not find it available, but if you found and include nozzle, needle, spring and a complete set of all packaging.

I think the general problem in all this type of gun is the subject of the packs, since the originals did not even have enough strength andalusia tinh, causing to be made larger and may have to be replaced continuously.

The material of the nozzle and needle are made of steel, like all the mobile parts. The body is brushed aluminum.

My rating for this gun is a 9.8

PROS:

  • The quality of the range exceeds any other in the same category.
  • Great Durability
  • Compatibility of some components such as gaskets and glass vessel with other brands.

AGAINST:

  • Availability of spare parts such as nozzles only authorized distributor.

Just a thought, but next time it would be easier to read if you broke the spanish and english into 2 separate sections than every other sentence…
