- Charles Neil Patternmaking
- Brand: Charles Neil | Category: DVDs

Charles Neil’s patternmaking DVD covers just what it implies. making patterns and templates. it is a very thorough disc and covers everything you need to know.
it covers -laying out patters -pattern materials -increasing pattern size -decreasing pattern size -using patterns -uses of patterns
it is a great dvd and teaches so much. knowing these things can really help you a lot and get you on your way to making patterns which help your work because they allow you to make duplicates and make two different ones the same.
it focused on one project too to teach a lot. this is a tilt top pie crust table. this is a really cool project and it is also shown in the router dvd that i will review when I’m done. I am going to make one soon too because it is very cool. and you learn really everything you need to know to be able to use templates. overall i would really recommend it because patternmaking is an essential skill in woodworking and this explains it very nicely.

Hi Dennis;
The pie crust table is a beautiful project to make. Reminds me, I still have to finish mine.
That and about ten other projects in the shop.
The legs are a bit tricky to carve.
Have fun.
