Ive had the track saw for a while now and I must say I love it… as some of you know I am a bit of a Festool junkie, I cant speak for other brands of track saws as I havent used them, but this one is great. Everything from cutting sheets of material to cutting a countertop on a mitre with no chipping and actually have it work on site! It is also a great time saver for cutting long angles without having to jigsaw and router them you can just lay the track on the workpiece, cut and done. I also like being able to cut long compound mitres when I make angled range hoods. To give you an idea of the power of this little fella, I had to cut down 2” solid mahogany doors and it sailed through it with ease. As always the dust collection is second to none and has the rugged ergonomic feel of any Festool tool. Really the uses of this saw are nearly endless and I’ve only begun to scratch the surface of its capabilities. Long story short if you can afford one, get it you wont regret it.
