Excellent primer on how to take advantage of your hand planes.

Rather than re-summarize, I will simply agree with the first review about the content and utility, and note that while there’s no earth shattering information, it’s an excellent combination of common sense and history. The video covers plane usage, including the history, the mechanism and the results, as well as discussing plane irons and other details in moderate depth (for example, why some irons have more camber). I have 3 Schwarz videos, and this is probably my favorite.

There is some overlap between this video and the ‘Building Furniture with Hand Planes’ video, but not enough to dissuade me from owning both.
