I discovered these at Lowe’s about a year ago. Often I have need to sand out a defect and the lowest grit discs gets it done the most quickly.
These discs are 8 hole, hook and loop (velcro) 5 inch discs.
I’ve been very pleased with these discs. They cut pretty quickly and them seem to last a long time. Not as long as Abranet, but they’re pretty durable. These discs compare favorably with Diablo, 3M, and Norton (the other brands I’ve mostly used).
These things come in very handy. The only caveat I have is that it can be difficult to tell when the disc is worn. Even when worn the abrasive on the discs is pretty rough. And visually it’s nearly impossible to tell.
Note: I have also used the same discs but in 320 grit. They were equally good.
Next time you’re looking for some sanding discs, give these a shot and see what you think.
