First New Marking Tools / Love Them No-picture-s No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

I ordered these from The Best Things Thursday, they arrived today (Saturday) well packed, no damage…

Except for my vintage Stanley No. 98 these are the only woodworking only marking tools I own that are really quality as I expected (hoped)...

They have a nice heft to them which is good because I have always like knowing they are in my hand. Light tools never feel right to me…

They have a nice balance to them, I don’t know any other way to describe it they just felt good from the moment I picked them up…

I’ve handled them the past few hours, and even though I haven’t used them yet I did check the Try square and its dead on, I hope you can make out the two sets of double lines…

I also love the look of the wood and brass, the bluing of the steel is to my liking and appears even across the whole surface.

I’m sure I’ll be very happy with them when I get a chance to use them.

Be gentle, my first review

They look really pretty. Report back after you have played with them. :)

I’ve now used these on and off for a while now and they are everything I expected…

I have since added the 3” and 9” try square, I haven’t used the 9” yet but from the past of sometimes needing a bigger one I bought it…

I think anyone would be happy using any of these.

Have your say...
