Forrest Blade No-picture-s No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

My son bought this blade 13 years ago, and in addition to all the furniture projects in the home shop he is a contractor for helping build homes. This blade is his only blade, and was used on site to cut everything for four houses. After cutting some very dense 31/2” Oak, he says it must be time for it’s FIRST sharpen, and intends for no one but Forrest to do it. It still cuts softer wood like butter.

thats a real testament to the blade as Gary said. any one can say it performs good after a year of two but really having a good solid 10+ years of use really speaks of the quality of the blade. thanks for the review.

Excellent review. I have Forrest blades on all my saws.

I’ve had Forrest blades for about 9 or 10 years and I wouldn’t have anything else, but they should be sharpened regularly. I use my saw at least 5 days a week and I have 4 blades, two 30 and two 40 tooth, and the longest I’ve gone is one sharpening per year, per blade. Saw blades are just like hand planes and chisels, they work best when kept sharp.

No doubt they are the best, anyone who has tried them will never switch back to anything else!
