I received my Big Foot scroll saw lift arm today and installed it in under three minutes. You will need a Torx T-35 tool to get the existing bolts out. Also be sure to watch the installation video to get the parts in the right order.
With as much scrolling as I do this will be a very useful add-on to save time and frustration when changing blades or putting the blade through a hole in the center of a large piece of work. Very easy to use; just lift the scroll saw arm and it will lock in place. Then with a one finger you can move the Big Foot arm out of the way to lower the scroll saw arm.
This seems to be a must add-on for all scrollers that really use the DeWalt and are consistently looking to ways to improve your “time to cut”.
