This is the file holder from Veritas for card scrapers. Works great for putting a new edge on card scrapers after the burr is worn out. Takes only a couple of seconds to file the edge and get it ready to burnish or you can leave it as is after filing for heavy (as heavy as you can get with a card scraper anyway) material removal. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a good jig for their card scrapers.

You can also use this for jointing hand saws.

A local ski shop uses them for jointing/sharpening edges as well, Mine sees duty on scrapers as well as just getting a square edge on things ..;-)
