The hook and loop pad on my Dewalt 421 sander gave out, and would no longer hold sanding disks. It lasted for 7-8 years, and I like my 421 more than the current Dewalt offering. I was surprised to find them in stock at Lowes. They run about $18, and better yet they fit many of the Dewalt 5” sanders.

It works great, and restored my sander to like new. I now have two sanders so my wife can help!

If your local Lowes doesn’t carry them, try Dewalt tools or https://www.toolpartsdirect.com/

HD also carries that same pad if your Lowes is out.
