Whem I first purchased this saw I was happy with it. It was a dramatic improvement over what I had been using. Now after using it for several weeks I must, unfortunately, change my view. I have been using this saw rather extensively and what I am finding, after completly disassembleing it is that it is almost completly worn out. the blade holders (made of plastic) no longer hold the blades properly and the tension arrangement loosens up while you are cutting. I understand that it is an entry level saw and because of the low purchase price will not be up to the same standards of more expensive tools but no tool should be worn to this extreame in this short a period of time. I just returned from my local catalog retailer where I ordered a Chraftsman saw as a replacement. Still an entry level saw but hopefully should serve for a much longer period than the King Canada saw.
