I worked the WIA show this past weekend in Pasadena, Ca. showing the Earlex tools in a booth and also running a seminar titled “HVLP Spray finishing made simple” which was well attended by many of my woodworking friends, customers and newbies trying to figure things out. Overall the show was a success, the woodworking TV stars and authors had great attendance in the building next door to the trade show area. It would have been nice if everything could have been in the same building, but the grass is always green and greener.
There were several after hours events that I would love to been to but time did not allow. I hope everyone at least learned something at the show, the vendors that were there did a great job distributing information about their tools, techniques and woodworking in general. This was the first show in this venue and hopefully next year more and more people will attend and continue to make it an even bigger success.
The next WIA show is in Covington, KY starting Nov 2nd I hope to see you there.

I really like to go to Woodworking shows, unfortunately the one in Tampa seems to be getting “poorer” every year.
Glad you had a great time.

I agree. Pasadena was a GREAT venue and the show and education were exceptional. I’m hoping they’ll decide to return next year!

Have your say...
