- Porter-Cable Porter cable Jobsite Table Saw
- Brand: Porter-Cable | Category: Tablesaws

I bought this table saw because my old one was falling apart. My old craftsman table saw I got at a garage sale, for $30.00. It worked for a few months, but then I found out about porter cable. But when I got the porter cable miter saw, ended up getting a porter cable table saw, I paid $300, with tax I paid about $330. The table saw stand is awesome, its very sturdy, and really easy to roll the table saw out of the way. A table saw needs a good fence, and miter gauge. The miter gauge that came with this saw actually doesn’t fit in the miter slot, it has probably 1/16” play it. But i hardly ever use it after building my crosscut sled http://lumberjocks.com/projects/79509.The fence was a major problem thou. It warped on me, and the fence handle lock is way too big. That problem took away a star, the riving knife locking nut was a problem too. They should of put a lever to unlock the riving knife. That also took away a star, everything else on this saw is very nice. I would suggest this saw, too a DIY or contractor.
Thanks!
AJ
