- Incra Icra Miter Slider
- Brand: Incra | Category: Other

Not a whole lot to say about miter slot sliders but I like these over the Kreg’s for the simple fact that you can adjust the width from above. The Kreg’s you have to remove the slider, make an adjustment using the set screw, repeat until you get the fit that you want. The Incra’s use the “spreader” method for adjusting the fit. You just have to locate and drill a 1/4” hole through the sled to allow access to the adjustment. Down side is, you end up with 3 extra hole per slider in your sled.
The directions are easy enough to follow. I would change one thing about the directions. The direction tell you to mark the hole locations (from the bottom of the sled), drill a 1/4” through hole and then use a Forsner bit to bore a 5/8” counter bore from the top side. I can never line up Forsner bit once the through hole has been drilled. So I made a small pilot hole from the back side, then the counter bore and lastly the 1/4” through hole.
Mounting hardware and adjustment allen wrench is included. This beats hardwood runners hands down IMHO.
