I picked this up from Amazon.com. It was very easy to install using 8 bolts that screw in to predrilled holes in the sides of the planer, total install time was about five minutes. The table on the DW735 is so small, it’s difficult to get the workpiece positioned exactly flat to take a reading on the material removal gauge if you don’t have some sort of infeed table, especially if you’re planing a long board. With these addon tables, that problem is entirely eliminated for short boards, and made much more bearable for longer ones. I really think that these should come with the planer because after using them, I can say that I’d totally recommend anyone considering the DW735 to buy them with the planer. I used to get a moderate amount of snipe, but these have almost entirely eliminated it. I say almost because I still sometimes get a visible snipe mark, but if I run my finger over it, I can’t feel a bump like I would before. My only complaint with these is that when folded up, they don’t lock, or at least I haven’t found a way to make them lock. Most other planers that I’ve seen with folding tables lock when you fold the tables up so the planer takes up less space when not in use. I wouldn’t say this is a deal breaker since you could just use a bungie cord or something similar to hold them up, but it would’ve been nice for Dewalt to incorporate some kind of lock.
