The complete dovetail.
Handmade furniture’s signature joint.
By: Ian Kirby 1999

ISBN-13: 978-0-941936-67-5
ISBN-10: 0-941936-67-8

This book is a wonderful source of dovetail making.
All the different dovetails are illustrated, and you are with black and white drawings and photos guided through the process.
It includes:
Theory behind the making and using.
The tools use and guide.
And much more.

I have never made a dovetail in my life, but this book explain it all so well, that after reading it, I already have made several without even touching the tools yet.
Yes this is a book to die for if you start out in dovetails, highly professional, ands yet understandable, even for me…
Thank you Ian.

Best thoughts,
MaFe
