Lighting got my computer on May 27…People say computers can be addictive,I say not so! Just because I couldn’t keep my mind on my work wondering what was the next blog post from TopamaxSurvivor was about? I had cold sweats wanting to know the next project from tyskkvinna!! What was being done on LJ? I just had to know, I couldn’t wait! My skin would crawl from wonder of how did Steve’s chair turn out?
I got my unit back today, all my questions got answered…Are computers addictive? I say no…I CAN QUIT ANY TIME I WANT TO !! Ron

Now, TV’s are addictive and senseless. Computers are educational devises to ask those questions inquiring minds want to know. LOL

I usually spend an average of 30 minutes a day on the computer. I look at Lumberjocks and enjoy other peoples work, post an occasional project and a few comment online and order some supplies online. Anything more than that gets old very quick. I enjoy sitting down and reading a magazine and can spend hours at a time doing so.

-- Every step of each project is considered my masterpiece because I want the finished product to reflect the quality of my work.

Seeing as my job is computer related, I feel compelled to keep LJs up during my working hours. Thank goodness the company is more worried about monitoring the activity to porn sites than woodworking communities. :)

Glad you are back revieck.

I try to limit my time on the computer to 16 hours per day. More than that, might indicate a problem.

Ever since I discovered LJ’s, I sit in front of this screen at least an hour EVERY night! My wife has given up on me and just makes eyes at me. My workbench misses me!
