Do you mean to resaw a 6” tall board or just cutting through a 6” block of wood like used in making a bandsaw box??

Assuming you mean a block of wood….just use a sharp blade and take it slow. The stabilizer is meant as a replacement for the stock guides for 1/4” or smaller blades.

But Brad is the bandsaw man. Brad?

I do not think the stabilizer was designed for such a cut. I would put the standard guides back on. I have the Carter Stabilizer on a 10” bandsaw so I do have experience with them.
