Table saw blade won't go back to 90 degrees

Definitely check for sawdust buildup or a stray piece of wood offcut, is the bevel still clamp released, it might tighten up as you turn the hand wheel, also is the 90 degree stop secure or has it move due to vibration

Unplug it and clean out the insides.

If cleaning don’t work, check the bolt that stops the blade. It will be located at the end of travel, you can’t miss it.

This may sound like a Duh thing but make sure the lock knob is not tightening as you spin the crank.

I had the same problem with my Delta x5. Cleaning definitely helped moving the blade but like Gerald said adjusting that bolt at the end of the travel was the game changer.

Had same problem recently, cleaned out the chamber with the blade and found sawdust compacted on top of the stop . Works great now, added checking this to my monthly routine.
