I use a magnet mounted little cord reel to hold mine. I let go and it returns to the same place.

Good idea guys. I know there are all sorts of solutions. I just decided to use the same screw attachment that was there. Scrap wood, paint and a little something that I made. lol Show your chuck key holders everyone! hahaha

One of those “free with any purchase” magnetic parts dishes sits on top of my drill press. Holds the chuck key, often used drill bits, other incidentals. Nothing moves. Always there – just remember not to lay it down somewhere else.

Yours is much nicer than mine…..a little rare earth magnet works for me.
