Been there.

Um ….

Last week, I mounted the ski racks, loaded the car, got all outfitted in my ski clothes, went to fill the tank, and came back home.

My wife wasn’t ready.

It was Tuesday. We were going skiing on Thursday.

Do I really have to laugh at this joke? ;-)

“Where is my Sunday paper?” the irate customer calling the newspaper office loudly demanded, wanting to know where her Sunday edition was.

“Ma’am,” said the newspaper employee, “today is Saturday.
The Sunday paper is not delivered until tomorrow, on Sunday.”

There was quite a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition, as she was heard to mutter, “Well, that’s why no one was at church today!”

A senior citizen had to drive to the next town on the Expressway for a doctor’s appointment one morning. He had already left, when his wife called him on the cell phone. “I’m watching the news on TV, there is a report of a car traveling the wrong way on the Expressway, so be careful!” His wife said. He shouted back, “It’s not just ONE car, it’s all of them!!!!”

I remember getting ready for church on Satarday once. Then asked the wife, Arn’t you going to church today?

The best true story I ever heard, is an older couple was traveling in there RV and the wife was driving. The husband was looking for something in the kitchen cabinet. He hollered at his wife, asking her where the item was at. The next thing he knows his wife is in the kitchen helping him look for it. She told the police officer who was at the accident scene that she could not understand why the RV went off the road because she had it on automatic pilot!

ND2ELK:

Used to have an Airstream motorhome.

MANY is the time I was debating, in my mind, about whether or not I could make it to the lavatory, ... um …. USE the lavatory, and then hurry back, without crashing the motorhome.

No. I never DID do it, but … I was about 96% sure I could have :-)

Matt: Agreed: Very happy early birthday!!! May your 40s be your best decade yet!
