That is about what that rack is really worth. I bought one similar a couple years ago. It is a nice rack but light duty. It is good for storing a few boards on each level. I like it but would not pay the $70 list for it.

Hi Roger, I saw that and sent it to a few people who might need one. That is a heck of a price- can’t buy the 2×4’s to make one for that!!

Hi Bruce, maybe gussets under those arms would increase the strength a lot. I wondered how those arms were fastened to uprights to support a load like I would put on it. Maybe it is like Harbor Freight unfinished tools- add a little to them to make them shop worthy!!

Gussets would help. I went back and read the small print. They say a load of 100 lb per shelf. For my use they work well. The amount of lumber I have is about what they show in the picture.
