I agree with Chip. The thrill of shoveling the driveways is long gone. We got just got a dusting here in central Kentucky.

Here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, we were hit with almost 30”. I have shoveled my deck twice, just so the dog could go out. I can’t even get out of my front or side doors.

I shoveled about 18” of snow in the driveway. The car is not out yet. The poser was out from 3:00AM to 8:30AM on Sat morning and then from 10:30AM to 4:30PM. I was cooking on the BBQ. Some bread, cinimmon rolls and warming up a smokked chicken. I was carrying everything into the house when the power came on SO we contuinued the warming process in the house. I didn’t get it done in the BBQ. The cast Iron Dutch ovens did’t get as warm as was needed.

It looks like a lost about 6-7 Holly trees layed over and also broken off. The Holly leaves collected lots of heavy snow and they came down.

Heh, when I was a wee lad of 3 (1955) we moved from Minnesota…it snowed a cumulative 38 feet that year. When the stuff thawed, my dad said, “We’re going to California!”. Prolly saw that infamous Rose Parade.

My brother lives in Minnesota. The first time I was up there, I looked at the corner of his yard and asked, what is that stake in the ground? He said it has marks on it, so everybody can tell how many feet of snow there is. The only thing I could think is glad I don’t live here during the winter..

I am in New Jersey and we got hammered, excuse the pun, I have a 4 Runner and the snow is up to the wheel well. I cannot open either doors of my house the glass door shows it’s about 4 ft. up against the house the front is a little less. Sorry i do not have pics of this years snow storm, you really could not go out in this one since the winds were so strong. The snow was so high by morning i could not get out.
It started a little after midnight and went to about 5-6:00 the next day. At the rate of 3” per hour, according the the weather channel, you can imagine how much we got.
I have to start to dig out today, I am in no hurry, :)

I’m getting tired of the snow, the rain, and the clouds. Last summer here in east Tennessee was a wet one, and the winter’s doing an encore. I work in the mountains between Tenn and N.C. and all this snow’s making my commute risky business! Hope this summer’s just a bit sunnier.

Best to you all.

The Tee He He is not funny Dan.

maybe another 6-8” today. I went out and got stuck 4 times in the road in front of the house.

It’s 8” of slush and it drags on the bottom of the car and stops the vehicale from moving.

They finally cut down the tree that was laying on the cable and Power wires. One of the neighbors proped the tree up with a 2 X 6 so the wires weren’t sagging too much. They picked the tree up with a Bobcat to put in the 2X6

(Not me) But the power stayed on.

So it looks like I’m still stuck in until Friday.

My oldest daughter is getting married in Baltimore on Sunday and I need to pick up my Tux and get to Baltimore.

They are absolutely adorable, shre is absolutely adorable. When my little ones made faces lie that we called
that a funge, never quite knew what that meant but it was said with love. It made them laugh if we made a face too.
God bless her and your family and thank you for sharing. I can’t stop looking at her she is so beautiful, I miss my little ones. I am a grandma now. But don’t see my little ones.

Give her a “pound” for me too.
I used to love to play this much or how big. Ever hear that?
You ask her how much do you love daddy/mommy or how much does daddy/mommy love you and then spread your arms up, or to the side and say this much, or how big etc.. They love. Then you act all silly and tickle and laugh.

It took me 5 minutes to just walk to the shop. 38 in the shop and 41 outside. What to do open the doors?

I looked around and decided to go back to the house.
