You may want to make up some samples of different ratios and see what looks the best.

Thank you for your replies. Between your info and some other sites I decided I needed to get some pigment and start weighing if I wanted accurate info on the grout mix. If this can help anyone else, this is what I found, using Cobalt Blue Iron Oxide pigment. 1 OZ color to 47 OZ White un-sanded grout is about the lightest shade. Anything less was almost White. 1 OZ to 18 OZ was as dark as I obtained. Any more color was wasted. By volume the light shade was approx. 1 to 8 as the Iron Oxide weighted quite a bit more than the cement. I had no other Iron Oxide colors to compare to see if their weights are the same. Thank you again.
