AFAIK, there are no english/metric specific torx drivers… they are simply numbered T4, T6, etc…
Some approximate dimensions can be found here:

Pretty much any standard set should work for you, even the cheap sets over at HF.

That screw is most likely a t 10 or t 15.

I agree, any cheap set should do just fine. The only thing to watch out for is that some Torx screws are made to be “tamper resistant”. They have a small pin standing up in the center of the hole that prevents insertion of a regular Torx driver. You can buy Torx drivers that have a matching hole. Sort of defeats the “tamper resistant” feature, doesn’t it? The ones with the hole work fine on screws that lack the pin, so just purchasing them would save some cash. Actually, you don’t need a set, just measure the opening in the screw and buy one driver bit at the hardware store.

One of my Bosch 1617 routers quit a few years ago. It was the switch, and if memory is correct, Bosch sent me a new switch upon request. They have an improved switch. You might as well call them and see if they’ll send you one.

Thanks for your suggestions. I finally located a torx screwdriver that let me remove the cover. Cleaning out the switch with compressed air didn’t do the trick, so I’ll have to get a replacement switch. My problem now is the replacement switch shown here shows just one lead and my router has two leads. I don’t know which lead to connect the new switch to. Any suggestions?
