I’m down here in WV, just outside of Harper’s Ferry. Granted it’s not PA, but I’m not that far from it.

We should plan a LJ get together of everyone in PA. Any suggestion on where and when? Maybe two or three get togethers on the same day in different parts of the state? Would be great to meet more PA LJs.

as to your mention of a warped mind…try a jointer , then a planer…might work…lol….i really like your wanting to be closer to other wood workers and do some projects or do design works..anything that would help the trade grow…im wondering if there is a need for more clubs in areas where they do not exisit…..hey what about LUMBER JOCKS WOOD WORKERS CLUBS…A GREAT WAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE TO SHARE IT AND GET NEWER WOOD WORKERS........

grizz, that sounds like a good idea. I wish that we had a woodworking/woodcarving club in our town. The closest ones are at least 40 miles away. That don’t do me a bit of good. I don’t even have time to drive back and forth to work even. LOL, it’s only 10 miles one way. :)

I am open to having a LJ get together. I am sure I can get the farm to give us some space to use. Let me know.

I’m in Pittsburgh. Would be fun to get together. Have to be somewhere half way between Philly and Pittsburgh, off the turnpike I would think.

Real sorry about your DAD. It is so true that in a spare second we often think of things we’ll do when “I get an extra minute”. Somehow that minute is so fleeting…......

Anyway, I was born in Carlisle and grew up in Perry County. I live in Hawaii now, but visit Pennsylvania a couple of times a year. If you all have a reunion one of these days, give me a heads up….....

Best of luck to you in your woodworking. I’m sure you’ll make your DAD proud.
