You would probably get a lot of interest by posting the information at They have a special forum (BOYD—Bring Out Your Dead) for selling tools and/or parts. A 36” bandsaw would light up someone in your area, I’m sure. It might even be worth it to somebody to buy a brand new 14” bandsaw and give it to you for your 36”.

Reo, very interested in your saw. I have a 14” Delta that I could trade, it is the one with the two speed gearbox. I think it is model 28-300. Is it a cresent, or a northfield?

I cant tell what make it is. working on trying to tell without removing lower guard. the name is cast into the frame behind the lower wheel I can get “THE….......MFG Co.” top line is all so far. i have tried a rub, cant get in there with my hand. 1 1/2 hp motor. tilt table.14” between the upper wheel guard and the table. carter guides, thrust bearing with slide blocks for twist. It has been converted from Babbitt to ball bearings for the lower wheel. the last pic is the inner bearing and grease extension.

some have expressed interest but none have come to see it. I’d like to close this out this weekend. available any time. I can plug it in and run it for anyone who wants to see it run.

My friend suggested that there might be some fear about moving this because it’s big. If that is whats holding you back I have an answer! I can load, deliver, and help you unload.

Buzzbee I can keep on the look out for you. It was a sweet saw. quiet and smooth. my dads old 42” with wood rims cut well but rattled its way along.
