Thanks for the link. I’ve downloaded it and it’s a great new addition. My life just got a smidge easier.

spell check. I think it’s something only found in Harry Potter books. Otherwise, I dunno

The only setback I found was that it disabled (overrides) the APPLE-CLICK on links to open them in new tabs in Safari, other than that it was pretty cool when I had it. (sorry, apple-clicky is WAY more important for me)

Pruplev,
I have leopard and safari 4.+. I may be a issue with using an older version of the OS or Safari?

A right click, if you have a non apple mouse will do the same thing

For those who want to modify the bar and haven’t found it: under the lumbejocks tab is a small arrow. Choose toolbar options and it will let you check/uncheck items.

Sorry Patron, it seems to work for me and I guess for others.

Here’s the direct link for you to try.

http://lumberjocks.ourtoolbar.com/

And it sort of makes most features of LJ’s available in another bar at the top of your browser. So you can get to what you want to see in LJ’s directly. It also posts a ticker to list what’s been posted on LJ’s.

I have leopard 10.5.8 with Safari 4. I CAN right click – no problems there, but to open a link in a new tab there is a shortcut – Apple-click (no context menu – just opens link in new tab) which it’s functionality is lost with the new toolbar. after I removed the toolbar, things went back to normal. I am not a big fan of context menus. I’m a shortcut kind of a person.

I’ve had it installed for a couple of years. martin sent me the link and asked me to try it. I just kind of forgot that everyone was never told about it. He also was trying to set up an email for everyone. Mine was karson@lumberjocks.com Dan’s was danwalters@lumberjocks.com. We used to send email back and forth to each other.

I just check and I’ve got email from dan and I had never checked in a long time.

Well, Martin did set up an email for us. Go to someone’s home by clicking home under their picture and you can send them a personal reply. If they send you back an email it will come to your regular email account in your computer.

Tonight I went to my Lumberjock email account karson@lumberjocks.com and I sent a chat request to Dan Walters. He replied when I was at the store. When I got back we set up a little chat talking about his new job. I wish that this was available to all lumberjocks. I sent Martin a question asking him what the going forward step was.
