The first step is recognizing that you have a problem.
The only problem I see, though is…..
You can’t get to your workbench!!!

I’ll be happy to lighten your load…
For a small fee!!!

Nice “little” collection!!!

The crazy thing is that the majority of them are unique with only a handful of duplicates.

Do you use them or just look at them? With a collection like that, everything in my shop would have moulding of some sort on it. :)

Nice collection. Glad to hear that you only have a “handful of duplicates”

Mike, I feel your pain. I too am an addict. I came to realize that I couldn’t make use of them all, so I managed to stop buying.
HOWEVER, if you would be interested, I would be willing to see if we could arrange a swap for some of our planes. I currently use as many as I can, mostly the complex profile molding planes, but have some others that are duplicates, or are specials I’ll never use. If you think you’d be interested, let me know.
Thanks, Oldtool.

There might be a local 12 step program to help overcome this problem.

Dan, I use a lot of them but I’d be lying if I told you I use all of them. Obvisously the hollows and rounds get used all the time. Some of the beaders and snipe bills get used as well. I’ve bought so many of them over the past couple of years (around 100) that I haven’t had time to tune them up yet.
