Good for Ryobi and good for you. I have read a few stories here about vendors keeping a pulse on their products by keeping an eye on this site. Some vendors are paying attention folks. Feel free to use your voice. Your dissatisfaction may be the push that ultimately leads to a better product.

I have had good luck with Ryobi’s 18v lithium batteries (the big ones, not the thin ones). Not so good with the Nicads. But I think any circular saw, regardless of brand, sucks batteries down pretty fast, compared to drills and drivers. It’s my Makita batteries, both Nicads and NIMH, that have given up the ghost. I don’t even try to charge them anymore.
