Best wishes to you and your family. I had open heart surgery last December, it was scary stuff going in, but I learned that modern medicine is pretty miraculous. Go into it with a positive attitude, understand that the doctors and nurses are looking out for your best interest and let them do their thing. I wish you the best and hope you are making saw dust soon.

sorry to hear of your cancer jim, my mom just found out she has it also, its a hard thing to deal with, i hope your surgery goes well and that you heal quickly, take care and we all hope to see you making saw dust as soon as possible…prayers are in your behalf…grizz

Been through a heart attack, back surgery (twice) and still here and going great.
You’ll be fine and kickin for many years. Keep the faith, Bro.

sounds like you caught it in time to treat. cancer treatment these days is still brutal, but highly effective and a modern miracle. best of luck.

Jim Crockett passed away on January 19, 2013. His obituary can be found here .
