I have the LSA on my table saw motor burned up called customer service gave the my tool id# They told me to take it to my nearest HD. They directed the manager to replace my entire saw. No complaints here.

Well first Bert Ridgid does not pay for their banner they supplied a tool for a test. Advertising for them is a reward for helping us review tools which is our main focus. I choose to endorse tools that I like this is my personal recommendation not this old workshops. Please never confuse the two If I write a review it is just a review. We run a set battery of tests on each type of tool to emulate actual use many of our reviews take months of study. Because a week with a tool is not long enough to find weaknesses. Also I have only used the two planers for a limited time I don’t own either one and my access was limited I do trust DeWalt more and I like their tools more I think they have better features as a whole. I am still using my 733 and it is a workhorse I know its a great tool because I have used it without incident for many years And it planes close to 1000 board feet a month over this time and no problems. I also have read the engineering information on the 735 and know why it is a superior machine to the Ridgid. So I asked why the buyer would go against so many peoples choice and buy the lesser machine. I accept the reasoning as logical he wants a good hand plane and for a low angle smoother. I would recommend the 134 or the larger 62 from L N
