Hard to beat that deal Jim. I do have one question though – does this exclusively cover 30 days of the tall clock or could I watch part of a different series that is more my speed? -- Kay - Just a girl who loves wood. |

From the e mail Charles sent it looks like 30 days but you can email Charles office manager and find out for sure -- W James Brokenbourgh Custom furniture maker http://artisticwoodstudio.com/ |

OK, I just watched the first of two videos on making a step stool with a hand support pole – so YES, you can watch earlier videos, not just the most current one. This is really a good offer. -- Kay - Just a girl who loves wood. |

I’ll back up Jim….Have most all of Charles Neil’s DVD’s which is my way for slow learning. If you want advice from a master Charles will give it. He has stopped internet chatting and is focused on his internet show and the many customer builds he says yes to. I have referred people to Charles on chair Building. The “BEST” DVD out there and most comprehensive. And there is a bunch of short educational videos on the Charles Neil woodworking Homepage! Please remember that Charles is pretty close to a One Man, ( and assistant) and two women shop, so lets help keep his educational materials alive! -- Cau Haus Designs, Thomas J. Tieffenbacher |

I have watched every Charles Neil video on youtube, several times … some three or four times. He’s a woodworker’s teacher. No BS, just honest teaching. You can’t help but like the guy. He has his own Youtube channel “In the Workshop”, if you aren’t familiar with him, stop what you are doing, tell the kids to go home, give the wife your credit card and send her to the mall. Then turn down the lights and spend several hours with Neil. You won’t regret it. |

Jim, I see things about a Slant Front Desk... patterns, etc. Are you going to be making his Clock? I don’t know where I’d PUT such a piece! Yes, Jim, I’m having fun… I found the Slant Desk profiles, etc… You say you save DVD’s from your subscription… Would my Paid subscription (same as my free trial) have any way to save a video before they are dropped? Do you save the Video from the weekly shows? Is it even possible to legally do so? I see where one can download for iPod & some other stuff… all of which I don’t have any use for (I think). Sounds like, in order to see the videos on the Slant Front Desk, one must buy them? If you don’t get what you can out of the Currently-being-shown videos… Gone unless you’re buying a DVD? Does he just keep the Last 4-5 projects viewable? Thank you. -- Have Fun! Joe Lyddon - Alta Loma, CA USA - Home: http://www.WoodworkStuff.net ... Joe , Once you are registered with Charles’ site, you will get email letting you know of specials, which include DVD’s. Once you get connected you will become part of that network and these questions will be answered. As Jim said, you get a lot for your money. I have Tauton DVD’s and they are good. “Norm” still offers project DVD’s on his site. Charles is quite serious about people becoming knowledgeable woodworkers, and takes time to personally answer project questions. Jim, I apoligize for stepping in. :-) -- Cau Haus Designs, Thomas J. Good! Got cool temps, my paperwork in order, cleaning up my tools in shop before I start all my incomplete house projects. Have an old sears router tablewhich i usually put on my saw horses with a sheet of plywood for a table. Decided after seeing all the nifty jigs people are making to make woodworking easier that I want a table at waist hieght. so I found a lot of scrap wood that I am going to size and make a permanent table. Soooooo, off to the shop/sudio/barn.. Later! -- Cau Haus Designs, Thomas J. Tieffenbacher |

Sherri here, Let me clear up some of your questions about the free trial. The ‘Free Trial’ is for a full 30 days, during the 30 days you will have full access to the show as if you were a paid subscriber. You will be able to purchase previous projects on DVD, you will receive a discount on some DVD titles and you will become a member of the shows’ exclusive forum. Now, having said that, I have to enable each subscriber and being that this was announce over the weekend, I am processing them as quickly as I can this morning. Once processed, you will receive an email from me regarding the subscription. If you have any questions, please email me at sherri@charlesneilwoodworking.com. Those of you who have subscribed have noticed that there is a .01 charge and international customers are charged shipping. This is why we are processing as check or money order, I will take care of that on my end and there will be an updated order for you. The 30 day trial is free, just some computer gliches in the final processing, the shopping cart doesn’t think I should give anything away so it won’t process the order unless there is a value, thus the .01, the shipping on International customers, well, I really don’t know why but I take care of it none the less. Thanks for your patience and as soon as I ship the orders for this morning I will be processing the trials and activating your accounts in the store and on the forum. Sherri |

I need to say this to only prove that Charles and his DVD’s and shows are worth every penny..I am severely hard of hearing and anything I watch, has to be in closed captioned or I just miss hearing stuff..and I mean MISS hearing stuff, but with Charles Videos and DVD’s..even if I cannot hear everything..he clearly show’s you how it done, so that regardless of me not always hearing him..I can see him and what he’s doing and it’s been invaluable teaching tool to me..other’s “talk about it” but Charles show’s you in ways that even with a shop that doesn’t have all the machines and tools..you can still do the job with simple things. he can even show you how to make a shop made pin router! I mean who does that just so folks can follow along without having to go buy one? Basically to sum it up.. it’s worth the trial and the subscription ten-folds..I have been a member for years now and my skills have really improved a lot since.. -- Randall Child http://www.racfurniture.com/ |

I would like to watch another series but i don’t know if i have the time to commit. I am currently enrolled in Rob Cosmans online school so that is like 5 shows a week, I watch already. I will ponder on this kind offer for a few days but would really have to give up something to spend more time watching another teacher.I Guess I could spend less time in the chat rooms and I will give this some serious thought. Charles thanks for the kind offer and thanks Jim your the bomb. -- when I am not on Lumberjocks I am on @ http://thisoldworkshop.com where we allow free speech |
