You can usually google and get a hit on the model numbers, but this one brings up zilch. |

That one is fairly new. As for the price, that is your call. Not sure how bad you want it or if you see many. I have seen old ones from 100$ to 1500$. Its like buying used cars. One may be worth more to you then me. Good luck in whatever you do. bob -- Bob www.bobkloes.com |

The catalog number will tell you a lot more. -- If the old masters had power tools, they would have used them. So get off your damn High Horse. |

Go see it with $900 cash in one pocket and a few hundred more in the other…. and be prepared to take it home right then and there. If you like it, make him an offer. As for age….. I thought the old ones were darker gray. This one looks to be 10 years of less. -- Matt, Pine is fine, but Oak's no joke! |

Three of the driving factors to the value of a unisaw. If you can get a clearer pic of the catalog number, you will be able to bring the manual up on Delta’s web site. -- If the old masters had power tools, they would have used them. So get off your damn High Horse. |

I had to go out to the shop to verify my thinking on the catalog number. the new Unisaw catalog # looks like this. 36-L336 36 is the basic saw frame model # -- If the old masters had power tools, they would have used them. So get off your damn High Horse. |

That is a very fair deal, I believe the x models came with 2 hp as the smallest motor (not sure on this). I know it’s not the 5 HP because of the 11 amps listed on the label ( 5HP is 18 amps @220v). I think the X tool line came out about 5 to 10 years ago. -- If the old masters had power tools, they would have used them. So get off your damn High Horse. |

That model would have a standard splitter, not a riving knife. Left tilt, Biese fence. Looks nice. $1275 isn’t a steal, but it’s not a ripoff either. $1000 would be a nice deal IMO. -- Happiness is like wetting your pants...everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.... |

I also got a R4511 for $299.00 this is the saw I am replacing. ” As always I recommend that you look at the Central Machinery 10” Industrial Cabinet Saw. For just around $500.00 after discount, this is a lot of saw for your money.” The only problem with that is the HF has not been selling this saw for at least 3years. -- Bert |

Call Delta Customer Service 1 800 223 7278 Give the serial number. They told me that my bandsaw was made in Sept. 1947. They didn’t have model numbers back then, you might need that too. -- It must be jelly baby, cause jam don't shake like that... |

Before buying any used table/cabinet saw I’d check the alignment of blade to miter gauge slot. Nothing worse than realigning a tabletop to blade. One never knows what has happened to a used saw in its lifetime and reliable info as to why the seller is selling a saw as new as the one in question could offer a hint. Good luck…I purchased my Delta Unisaw 32years ago and I wouldn’t have anything else. It’s a dream machine. I have also heard that Delta has been bought back and is now back in private hands with all manufacturing being done here in the good old USA. -- NJ Sailor |
