The very best to you and your bride this holiday season. You are both in my prayers and I wish you both a Merry Christmas.

From Quaker Philadelphia, we are holding you and Bronwen in the Light, Alistair. I hope she recovers in time to have a Blessed Christmas and enjoys better health in the New Year.

PS. I made my Scottish grandmother’s shortbread recipe yesterday and enjoyed a few squares in your honor, to the detriment of my waistline…

Thanks again Guys I am just so proud to be apart of such a great team. You people are just the best .
I will be posting some things I made soon large platters bowls etc.
However more recently I bought the new Robert sorby Micro (red handle)texturing and spiralling tool then I bought a texturing cutter ( the wheel only) which doesn’t come with the package as it comes with two spiralling cutter wheels , then I made my own complete tool around this cutter and I figure it’s a better design which was designed by a great engineer pal of mine Fred .And I made it to his recipe, as the sorby one makes it a bit different cheaper production design for speed of manufacture etc also to cut down cost of manufacture. If you wish I will post some Pics .Fred also made a better version of the chatter tool I treated myself too.

Allistair, so sorry to hear that Bronwen is still so ill. Let her know that there is so much good energy being sent her way from all of us that she has no choice but to get well. We certainly miss your participation here…but I am sure everyone realizes what your priorities are…

This is the time of year that we all in the northern hemisphere have to suffer through the harshest cold and the long dark so that the spring can renew and refresh us. We are having a really hard winter so far in my area….lots of folks are sick with colds, flu’s…you name it. Christmas is supposed to buoy us through the winter and give us enough momentum to make it to the spring…at least that was the pagan’s purposes…good food, good wine….good spirits…sad that folks have forgotten this ancient ritual and even the more current vision of what Christmas is meant to be has been tarnished. For my part…let me and mine wish you the best during this time of year…and may the new year bring you and Bronwen health and happiness.
