Allistair, so sorry to hear that Bronwen is still so ill. Let her know that there is so much good energy being sent her way from all of us that she has no choice but to get well. We certainly miss your participation here…but I am sure everyone realizes what your priorities are… This is the time of year that we all in the northern hemisphere have to suffer through the harshest cold and the long dark so that the spring can renew and refresh us. We are having a really hard winter so far in my area….lots of folks are sick with colds, flu’s…you name it. Christmas is supposed to buoy us through the winter and give us enough momentum to make it to the spring…at least that was the pagan’s purposes…good food, good wine….good spirits…sad that folks have forgotten this ancient ritual and even the more current vision of what Christmas is meant to be has been tarnished. For my part…let me and mine wish you the best during this time of year…and may the new year bring you and Bronwen health and happiness. -- Woodworking.....My small slice of heaven! |
