This is a great site and, thanks to you, Martin, it will stay that way. We’ve seen a few bumps in the road but they always get taken care of and we move on.

Thank you, Martin

Jim – - I see there are 40,004 projects and you have 40,002 posts. What are the 2 projects you did not post on?

Rich I guess I missed those two hmmmm. LOL I wish I had that many projects under my belt and that I had made some of the things that all of the talented LJers have made over the years.

The comment part is just talking too much.

Alistar I have commenting down well enough that I do it in my sleep. LOL

40,004 projects. No wonder my new posted projects don’t even last a day on the first page any more. I would have to come out of retirement to keep up. NOT! I guess I will just have to enjoy seeing the other peoples great projects on the first page. Thanks everyone for sharing your projects.

God Bless

It seems like the pace of new projects has been picking up recently. I assume some people are cranking out Christmas gifts and posting them as projects.

This is a huge milestone to which everyone contributed a little bit. It is 40,000 projects which translates into

I ask 2 questions to LJs per every project- 80,000 questions answered
I measure twice and get it wrong at least 1 – 40,000 short boards
I start 3 other projects that I can’t seem to get to- 120,000 potential projects out there
I use about 1000 curse words per project, sometimes more….oh man I can’t even do the math

Congratulations to all

Without LJ’s my woodworking would not be in the place it is now. I have learnt and grown so much in the past 12 months, that now, I can hold my head high and be proud to say that I am a true woodworker.
As you said it is just great for inspiration.
