Not a bad saw and not a bad price. If still available offer $75 but $100 is still a good price.

Save yourself some money and get a Delta T2/T3 fence for it. You can order them from Lowe’s or Home Depot. Better price than the Vega. You will have money left over for a good blade, or two.

I saw the delta fences. I think that’s the route I’m going to go. If I decide to get one of these used craftsman saws. Haven’t herd back from the guy yet.

However I did see this one up too. Looks like a newer model and from the research I’ve done looks to be mfg tti/Ryobi? Any thoughts?

You will want to upgrade the fence. The open web side tables are a pain sometimes, and other times great. You will want to use thin kerf blades, Link belt, Zero clearance insert, C-Man Pals if the table is out of alignment by much. A friend tuned mine up and I didn’t need mine. Sold mine for $150, 2 years ago. is a good saw, gave me years of service. Bought new in 1995 for $500 + Fence for $250. Have fun. Dan

I’d go for this one….has a better fence than the first one, cast iron router table, and is easily worth the extra $50 IMO. This fence still isn’t as good as the Delta T2/T3, but a fence upgrade won’t be such an urgency.

Yup, the second saw you posted will be the better deal of the two. That first saw claims to be 3HP but it’s really not, OK for a fraction of a second at start up it might be. i

Definitely go for the second one. The fence is serviceable and it would leave you a lot left over for the PALS upgrade, link belts, and good blades.
