Websites devoted to woodworking (even with paid subscriptions), CD’s/DVD’s of woodworking magazines (including archived back issues) and this forum are the wave of the present. Woodworking is a very visual craft. Video sites, like The Wood Whisperer, shout with knowledge. All of the major woodworking magazines are shadowing their efforts on the Internet. You can’t change the future if you don’t live in the present.

I’ve quit buying printed woodworking magazines because they are made of paper, which competes for the wood I’ll be using in my projects.

Save a tree – use the Internet.
