Tom, I am sorry for the loss of Laser. This is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions that you will ever have to make but despite the pain of losing him you are doing what is best for him. We lost our chocolate lab exactly 2 years ago this month. It is hard, initially to lose them, but I would not trade the lifetime of memories and love that they leave behind to avoid the pain of making this decision.

Great idea on the box. I have planned something similar but simply have not gotten around to it yet. I will be looking forward to seeing a post on yours as an inspiration.
