The R4512 has a long history of alignment issues that effect a fair number of the units. That alone would nudge me toward the Delta….I also like the fence on the Delta better. If you get a Ridgid that doesn’t have the alignment plague, both can be good saws for hobby work….setup and blade selection will be the determining factors of how well the saw performs.
