No, I have no specific plans to offer. I’d suggest you just google “tall table” and look at images until you see a frame that appeals to you and you think you can do. Then, just “borrow” the idea and make it your own way.

Yes, DO glue the boards up edge to edge, exactly as with panels. That’s all you’re doing, making a panel and cutting a circle out of it.

For thickness, standard 3/4” would work. Me, I always like my table tops thick, so I usually use 5/4 material and mill it as close to 1” as I can get (often, quite close). Its up to your taste.
