I have the Ryobi version as well and it’s a good band for the buck. I don’t think it slide around to well, at least on concrete or asphalt. It is on the heavy side and a little awkward to carry. But if you don’t plan on moving it much or setting up and taking it down much I would but it again. I have used the Ridgid gravity rise utility stand with a ridgid miter saw on it too and it’s nice to be able to fold up the stand with saw and wheel it around easily. The extra cost is well worth it in my mind. Also it probably takes up as much room as the Ryobi/Craftsman stand when you consider you have to store the saw somewhere too.
