I have one for my 10” Makita. Works fine and for 80 bucks I have no complaints. When I first put it together I thought it lacked a little rigidity but once I got the weight of the saw on it, it felt fine. It lacks a couple features you could get by spending a little more money. No wheels but it slides around easy enough on my shop floor. There’s no adjustable foot so if you’re working on uneven ground you’ve got to shim under a leg (which is probably just as fast and easy as fiddling with an adjustment).

I don’t know about using it for a planer stand. I wouldn’t but then mine weighs 600 lbs.
