This is a cabinet saw, and it is probably a clone of the Delta Unisaw (Rockwell and Delta have belonged to each other at various times—very confusing). A great saw, but a crappy fence and rails. I bought a new Rockwell contractor’s saw about 40 years ago, and one of the first things I did was to throw away the fence. I made rails out of angle iron, and a T square fence out of aluminum square tube and steel.

The rough paint job makes me suspect it is an old machine; also the doorway at the front/bottom (missing the louvered door) dates that as very old. And it won’t have a riving knife.

I’d not want to pay more than $300 for it, after checking out motor, tilt and elevation mechanisms, and arbor bearings.

You can put upgraded rails and fence on it, and they make a fine saw.

-- I admit to being an adrenaline junky; fortunately, I'm very easily frightened
