Citrus!!!! At least that’s what I think since you mentioned it. How did it cut while turning? I turned some awhile back, and all the cutting was smooth, no matter what tool I used. The color is yellow, but nothing like Osage or Mulberry already mentioned.
The twisted trunk and the ripples? also looks like what Citrus trees do while growing. .............. jerry (in Tucson)
