I have trouble aligning the holes on the disc to the sander, so I made a holder about 2 feet long with sets of 4 inch high dowels (3/8 if I recall ) slightly chamfered on top. It has 6 or 7 pairs, so I can hold perhaps 50 upside down on each pair. I just put the sander on the 2 dowels (roughly aligned with the disks) and slide up the top piece for perfect alignment. They increase in grit from 40 on the left to 400 on the right.

I really can’t imagine a way to store them with quicker or easier access.

-- I always suspected many gun nuts were afraid of something, just never thought popcorn was on the list.
