I forgot to add, nice sawmill. I have been researching bandsaw mills for a few months now. Timber King is mill I'm going with if I can ever raise the funds.
Gorgeous grain! Looks like the mill is tuned up well and the exercise went well. I assume that there were no injuries and the equipment is still in working order?
We cut a fatter one today this one was a 5 hour battle for first cut.not fun trimming but we got it done.Sectioned it of into quartered parts got rid of the heart wood and prime grade A+ lumber.Its amazing wood once in a life time logs really fun just to have the chance to cut.
The part trimmed had rote and termite damage so i positioned it so it would not be missed due to trimming with chainsaw.Usually one mistake ends up to be couple hundred to thousand plus in loss and waste cant have that no good.
I'm quite sure the President would lust for the mill but not the log.
