I might suggest the “near death experience” is very similar to waking up after having a dream. Some of the dreams are vivid and you can remember them. Some dreams are a fleeting moment where we try to recall the dream, but it fades away. The dreams we remember, are the culmination of past experiences that have been stored away in our brain from the moment of life to the moment of death. Various influences trigger our brain to recall certain occurrences. People who have a vivid dream, may look for meaning in the dream and cause them to adjust their life accordingly. The same has been reported by the good doctor in the instance of people changing their life after a “NDE”. I don’t doubt the findings, nor do I fully accept them either. I have never had a NDE, so I guess I will have to wait for that critical time. It is certainly a thought provoking topic, but one that I prefer NOT to dwell upon. I prefer to focus my thoughts on life, not death. What will happen, will happen and there is nothing anyone can do about it, so it is best not to dwell upon things we have no control over.
